A good intention is like the seed of a tree whose fruit we do not know.”
George Bernard Shaw
So our Glenridge video page is fruit we still do not know…we apologize for the delay in producing videos for this one of kind community.
This community revolves around its historic character, central location in the heart of Essex County with easy access to New York City by car, bus or train and it’s consistently top ranked school system. Glen Ridge has retained that special small town feel. As of the 2010 census, the borough’s population was only 7,527.
Children walk to neighborhood schools and to the library along slate sidewalks while their parents may commute to the train or bus station by walking or riding the Jitney bus. You can see residents jog or ride bikes up and down it’s beautiful tree-lined streets. At night, the gas lamp street lights still light up the residential roads. With only 3,000 gaslights remaining in operation in the entire United States, Glen Ridge has 665 such lamps lighting its streets.
In 2010, Glen Ridge was ranked as the 38th Best Place to live by New Jersey Monthly magazine.
We will be hopefully producing some videos soon that will provide you with an overview of this unique Borough.
