Your Wish List

Make Your List and Check It Twice!

Before the home search begins, Nancy will want to know as much as possible about the features and amenities you desire. To help her serve you better, analyze what you want and what you need in a home’s features.

Make your Priority List. Decide on what you can’t live without (Must Have) and what you would classify as ‘Would Like to Have’ but are not a ‘deal breaker.’

Be realistic!

Here are some features and amenities to consider:

Location

Do you want to be in the country, a suburb, or rural area?
Is commuting important? How long of a commute do you want? Do you have a preference on what mode of transportation?
What type of school district are you looking for? Would you consider private school if the district is not to your liking?
Is proximity to a major airport a consideration?
Do you like being close to restaurants, shopping, and other amenities?
Do you need any special religious considerations?
Do you want easy access to major highways and thoroughfares?
Is access to public transportation important?
Do you need to be near hospitals, or other health care facilities
How important are parks, recreational facilities to you

Nancy can assist you with deciding on THREE (3) municipalities that would fit your criteria and your finances, taking into account your pre-approval amount and the amount of your down payment. You may want to live in a town with a train, a top ranked school district, near restaurants and shopping, with 3 bedrooms and 2 baths…however, you may not be able to find any homes in that municipality because the homes are priced higher than what you can afford.
